The Agronomy Laborer will assist patrons and the location in a professional manner and promote a positive image of the cooperative.  Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Assist customers with buying bulk fertilizer, chemicals and seed as well as delivering of grain commodities to the terminal.
  • Load and Unload railcars in a timely manner as they come into the business.
  • Blend and load Agronomy products.
  • Unload grain commodities as they are received.
  • Deliver products such as fertilizer, chemical, seed, or other to customer site.
  • Perform warehouse work to include: driving loader, forklift, mechanics, and maintenance.
  • Perform housekeeping inside and outside of all facilities.
  • Responsible for completing all safety reports and required record keeping.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Responsible for verifying equipment and supporting vehicles are in good working order.
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Maintain current license that apply to the position.
  • Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
  • Must be able to make appropriate decisions and execute them according to policy.
  • Must maintain appropriate and expected levels of customer service throughout the location.
  • Must exhibit a professional and positive image.
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
This is a full time, 40+ hours per week position, typically Monday - Friday. Qualified applicants must be available to work evenings and/or weekends as needed, especially during times of high seasonal demand.
