Certified Crop Advisor of the Year

Valley Wide Cooperative and Valley Agronomics want to recognize Russ Rubert from our Rexburg Idaho Agronomics locations, for being awarded the Certified Crop Advisor of the Year Award. He was given the award last week at the Far West CCA Meeting. He was selected out of several candidates from Oregon, Washington, Utah, Idaho, and California. Russ has worked for Valley Agronomics for the past eleven years, but has been in this profession for over 37 years. Russ received his CCA back in 1994 which shows his commitment to serving the grower! The criteria for receiving this award are: How long you have been in the CCA program and what accomplishments were met within the program.

Some of Russ’s accomplishments that were taken into consideration for this award are as follows but not limited to: 1. Teaching a course at BYU-Idaho for students to prepare for taking the exam, 2. He serves on the Pacific Northwest CCA Board of Directors, and continues to provide outstanding services to his growers, 3. Once you are made a Certified Crop Advisor you have to stay current with your license which requires going to several different meetings for the re-certification credits.

Russ also has some great achievements within Valley Agronomics. Also within the last two years, Russ has earned the Winfield Summit trip, which is given to those individuals who show diversity in their book of sales. Russ is also a part of his community by serving on the St. Anthony City Council, and always helping out with community involvement.

We want to thank Russ for setting a high standard of customer service, proactivity, and dedication to Valley Agronomics, a division of Valley Wide Cooperative.
