RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Candidates should be flexible and detail oriented with a great attitude while ensuring excellent customer service at all times. Ideal candidates will possess a high level of initiative, discretion and independent judgment, with a can-do attitude and the ability to multi-task.  One who can see things that need to be done and figure out a way to do them effectively and efficiently. Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
 

  • Perform daily activities required to keep manufacturing and commercial retail location operating.
  • Operation and maintenance of equipment, warehouse and site.
  • Operate and maintain plant equipment including but not limited to; fertilizer plant equipment, mobile equipment and company tools.
  • Accurately blend fertilizer blends, both liquid and dry, per the blend sheets.
  • Greet customers and assist them with purchasing products.
  • Operate company pickup as needed.
  • Assist in shop as needed.
  • Record and log equipment in and out.
  • Invoice customers accurately and promptly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • A Basic knowledge of mechanical and welding skills;
  • Proficiency in operation of forklift, bucket loader and conveying equipment.
  • A valid Oregon driver’s license.
  • A Valid Forklift/Bucket loader certification, and the ability to operate a loader for long periods of time.
  • The ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds and 50+ pounds on occasion.
  • The ability to work under, around and over equipment in the maintenance of equipment.
  • The ability to climb ladders though out the plant.
  • Qualify to wear a respirator.
 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous Agronomy Utility Worker experience.
  • Valid Class B CDL, Class A preferred; willing train if no CDL.

 
HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE
This is a full time, 40+ hours per week position, days of the week depend on location needs. Qualified applicants must be available to work evenings and/or weekends as needed, especially during times of high seasonal demand.
